Casting Rubber

Dala Casting Rubber is a Liquid Latex moulding rubber and can be used to reproduce any three dimensional article for reproduction casting.  This product is self-releasing from the host as well as from your casting material.  More layers should be applied for large articles.  Wait for each layer to dry before applying a new layer.

Texture Paste

Acrylic Texture Paste is great for crafting.  It's a fantastic way to add texture to any craft surface.  The adhesion promotion ensures that it will stick to almost anything.  It can be mixed into your paint or used as a surface preparation, and then painted over.  It can be diluted with water or Dala Acrylic Glaze Medium.  It can be successfully used in combination with any painting medium, whether it is oil, acrylic, water colour or gouache. With water based products it may be mixed into the paint or used as a surface preparation. With oil paint it is used only as a surface preparation.

For the comtemporary painter, it can set new horizons, allowing you to incorporate sand etc into your work.  It can be applied by brush or palette knife for a texture that not only looks great but is also technically sound and will not crack.

Clear Varnish

Used to protect acrylic and oil paintings. Once applied, Dala Artist Clear Varnish will protect valuable artwork and, should it become tarnished with time due to air pollution, it can be removed with Dala Artist Turpentine to reveal the original work in all its original glory, regardless of how long it has been on the surface of the artwork. Dala Artist Clear Varnish will never yellow or bloom.

Uses of Dala Artist Clear Varnish:

Dala Artist Clear Varnish is primarily intended as a varnish to protect both oil and acrylic paintings. Acrylic paintings can be varnished once it has dried, whilst oil paintings need to cure for twelve months before the varnish is applied. If the varnish is applied to wet oil paint, linseed in the oil paint will be starved of oxygen and it will never cure correctly.

The varnish is also used extensively in craft as a poster paint, tempera, decoupage or craft varnish. It furthermore has incredible adhesive properties and is used extensively in the 3D-decoupage craft.

Acrylic Glaze Gloss

Dala Glaze Medium is used as a varnish over acrylic paintings, achieving a rich, glossy surface with excellent resistance to water and ultraviolet radiation. Mixed into acrylic paint it will improve the flow or create a transparent acrylic glaze. Glaze medium can be added to resoluble water based paints such as poster paint, liquid tempera, powder tempera, water colours and Gouache to increase water resistance and flexibility. This product is ideal as a general sealer for arts, crafts and Decoupage projects. Acrylic binders also extend the life span of your artwork, since organic binders are not as durable as synthetic binders that tend to become brittle and crack with time.  Sold in a 250ml Flip Top Bottle.

Acrylic Glaze Matt

Matt glaze medium will maintain all the properties of the gloss glaze, but dries to a matt finish. Combine this medium with the gloss medium to produce a full range of finishes.  Sold in a 250ml Flip Top Bottle.

Acrylic Retarder

Acrylic Retarder is designed to slow down the drying time of Dala Acrylic Colour, Mediums and Drawing Inks. Retarder is essential when using Dala Drawing Inks for airbrushing. It will increase the working time of the ink and prevent build up on the tip of the airbrush. If mixed at no more than 20%, the retarder will not interfere with the integrity of the final film. Use with Dala Acrylic Colour to make an ideal, low cost paper screen printing ink.  Sold in a 250ml Screw Top Jar.

Acrylic Gesso

Dala Gesso is a 100% pure acrylic gesso with covering power and flexibility, superior to traditional gesso. Dries to a matt toothy finish that can be sanded to provide a smooth ground. Use directly from the jar or dilute with water or glaze medium. Dala Gesso will seal all absorbent surfaces, making it ideal for Acrylic, Tempera or Oil Paints.  Sold in a 500ml Screw Top Jar.
