Glass Glaze and Liners
Glass Liners
Brilliant new liners with a fine applicator nozzle that provides accurate detail, especially designed by the passionate crafters at Dala.
This water-based liner is not only used as an out-liner to reproduce a stained glass effect (coloured in using Dala Glass Glaze), but can also be used on its own to create interesting line designs and sketches. Due to the liner’s flexibility it can be used on firm substrates like glass, or flexible surfaces such as acetate. The product is adhesion promoted and will adhere to most surfaces.
Liners often become clogged and dry. We suggest you remove the applicator nozzle after use and wash it in hot water to remove any product from the delicate tip. The liner is water based and can become slightly thicker with the loss of water through evaporation. Small amounts of water can be added to the product to remedy this. If you wish to apply a delicate line and find the product too thick, heat the liner by placing it in a cup of hot water. The hot product will now flow faster allowing you to produce fine, delicate outlining.
Black and Lead are in our basic range, all other available colours are in metallic.

Glass Glaze
Dala Glass Glaze is a waterborne polyurethane, transparent colour, with a low viscosity. This low viscosity (or flow) makes it ideal for working on flat surfaces like glass or acetate (overhead projector sheets). The Glaze reproduces the surface of the substrate perfectly, giving you a glass-like finish with no brush marks. Dala Glass Glaze can be combined with any water-based product. It produces a beautiful, high gloss, durable finish, which makes it particularly popular with paper maché artists. It is also used as a decorative ceramic colour. Dala Glass Glaze is available in 20 bright colours
Note - never shake Glass Glaze as this will cause air bubbles which are then difficult to remove, stir with a kebab stick.
